KHRC's Active Participation in the 2024 Annual Health Research Dissemination Forum

The Research and Development Division of the Ghana Health Service hosted the 2024 Annual Health Research Dissemination forum from 21st to 23rd August 2024 at the University of Ghana Medical Centre under the theme “Driving Participation, Innovation and Excellence in the Network of Practice; the Role of Health Research.”
The main dissemination forum spanned a total of three days and it was filled with insightful presentations covering various topics centered on the theme. Before the main dissemination forum, an initial workshop was held on 20th August 2024 among health researchers from various regional health directorates across the country. The main highlight of the workshop was a panel discussion which looked at the challenges with health research in the country and the way forward.
The Kintampo Health Research Centre (KHRC) was represented by the director and ten other research fellows. One research fellow served as a moderator during the workshop with the health officers and seven others presented findings from various studies that had been previously carried out at KHRC. KHRC was therefore well represented and all the presenters gave a good account of the institution.
