KHRC Holds Festival of Nine Lessons and Carols as part of Christmas activities

The Kintampo Health Research Centre (KHRC) held a Festival of Nine Lessons and Carols on Thursday, December 21, 2023 as part of its Christmas activities.

The event which was held at the basketball court of the centre commenced with an opening prayer, an elucidation of the gathering's purpose and a speech by the centre’s director. Attendees and staff were treated to a memorable day filled with captivating performances by the KHRC choir.

In his speech, Dr. Kwaku Poku Asante, the Director of KHRC shed light on the remarkable successes attained by the center and the significant progress made by the various projects run by the centre. The ceremony was graced by the presence of Pastor Robert Dwumah from PIWC (Pentecost International Worship Centre), who delivered the exhortation.

The event ended with KHRC staff joyously dancing and sharing warm wishes of "Merry Christmas" with one another.
