As part of activities to mark the 30th anniversary of KHRC, the Centre held its first radio talk show on GBC radio, Kintampo. Dr. Sulemana Abukari and Mr. Mujtaba Muhammed, representing the Environmental Health Department, led the insightful discussion centred on KHRC's history, the impactful projects undertaken by the department, such as the Ghana Randomised Air Pollution and Health Study (GRAPHS), child lung function and cardiovascular health, among others.

The team during the discussion educated the community about the dangers of air pollution, highlighting its link to non-communicable diseases such as hypertension. They urged the public to refrain from deforestation, emphasizing its role as a contributor to climate change.

Dr. Sulemana seized the opportunity to thank the community for their unwavering support and active involvement in numerous projects throughout the years. He requested their support by being receptive to workers who engage with them and by ensuring the security of the air pollution sensors deployed in the communities to measure the concentration of air pollution.
